Uncle Bud's CBD Launches on Chinese Commerce Platform Tmall

Uncle Bud's, an American company specializing in hemp and CBD-based personal care, has officially launched in Asia on the popular e-commerce platform Tmall Global. As part of the launch, Uncle Bud's partnered with NBA Legend Earvin 'Magic' Johnson, who hosted a one-of-a-kind live stream event on the platform to activate the brand's new Tmall shop.

"The Tmall Global live event is a great way to connect with this viable market and introduce Uncle Bud's products to a new customer base," said Johnson, who was able to host the promotional event from the United States via satellite. In addition to the interactive event, the launch included the release of the 'Uncle Bud's China' website within the Tmall ecosystem, which will be the exclusive source for accessing the brand in Asia.

No doubt, in choosing to expand via Tmall Global, Uncle Bud's has recognized the massive potential of Asian e-commerce and specialty live stream events -- an area that the United States has yet to embrace fully despite its explosive rise overseas.
