Gwynnie Bee is a subscription service that gives women the chance to access an unlimited closet of designer clothing—and to help consumers learn about its size-inclusive service, Gwynnie Bee created a first-of-its-kind "voice-activated adventure unboxing experience" for Amazon Alexa.
As all Gwynnie Bee customers will open their subscription box to access the styles inside, the brand created a choose-your-own-adventure experience to enhance the product discovery and try-on experience. As part of the voice technology experience, a member takes on the role of the main character who goes on a journey. Alexa launches into a tale about the woman's workday and the intern who bumps into her and spills coffee on her brand-new outfit—fortunately, Alexa also shares that Gwynnie Bee covers the cost of cleaning the clothes.
The conversational interaction helps to educate consumers, provide them with a personalized experience and connect with them once they have received the physical product.
