Hyper-Realistic Fighting Games

EA Sports Launched UFC 6 With Its Markerless Capture Technology

Electronic Arts launched EA Sports UFC 6 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, introducing Markerless Capture and Sapien Technology to deliver more lifelike fighter movement and authenticity. The game's new Flow State mechanic builds 30 unique fighter profiles around individual strengths and tendencies, rewarding players who lean into a fighter's authentic style with momentum-based in-game advantages.

Frostbite-powered Real-Time Contact adds precise ragdoll physics and damage reactions, while new modes, including Hall of Legends and The Legacy, offer cinematic storytelling alongside gameplay. Career Mode expands to 10 times the number of decision points found in its predecessor, and the title marks the franchise's first-ever crossplay between PlayStation and Xbox.

EA Sports shows how advances in motion capture and player modeling are helping sports games more closely replicate the nuances of real-world competition.
