Ubuntu Touch Connects Separate Devices into Single Entity

'Convergence' is a word that many tech companies have been getting to know intimately and Ubuntu Touch is the result of such familiarity. It is the idea of bringing two or more different technologies in a single device. Yet when it comes to Ubuntu Touch, it also refers to connecting separate devices via one system. People are, after all, in the habit of owning a laptop, tablet, smartphone and more all at once.

Ubuntu Touch "aims to unify the disparate user experience one encounters when hopping from mobile to desktop to tablet and back again," writes OMG Ubuntu. Developed by Canonical, Ubuntu Touch may be one of the first on the market, but it won't be the last. Microsoft has since created their own convergent app, for instance.
