Next-Gen Electric Two-Wheelers

Uber's Jump Electric Scooters and Bikes are Being Upgraded

Uber's Jump electric scooters and bikes were recently shown off at the company's annual Elevate conference. The company has partnered with an unnamed manufacturer in order to produce the new bike and scooter models. Notable changes in the bikes were a swappable battery, whereas changes in the e-scooters included bigger wheels and a new braking system. The old brakes were a simple thumb break, and the new breaks are a hand brake that can stop both wheels.

Uber's Jump program aims to foster safer and more convenient ways in which users can choose to use scooters and bikes over cars. The new models will be released in US locations on June 24th, with a European release occurring later this summer.
