Uber Drift is a limited-time experience launched by Uber in Tokyo as part of the company’s Go Anywhere series. Uber Drift allows participants to book a drifting excursion directly through the Uber app between June 3 and July 1. The experience includes transportation from central Tokyo to Mobara Twin Circuit in Chiba Prefecture, a motorsport venue known for drifting events. Guests travel as passengers in professional drift cars rather than driving themselves and experience multiple track sessions alongside licensed Formula Drift drivers.
Participants ride in vehicles including the Nissan Silvia S15 and Nissan 180SX during tandem drift runs that reach speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour. The on-track portion lasts approximately 90 minutes and accommodates private groups of up to four people. Helmets are provided, and participants must wear long sleeves, long trousers, and closed-toe shoes. Uber offers the package for a flat rate of ¥30,000 per group, covering transportation, circuit access, and professional drivers.
