Uber Comfort Will Offer Passengers More Space and Newer Cars

The new Uber Comfort mode will offer users more legroom and access to more modern cars. Also included is the ability to preset temperatures, so the car will be a certain temperature when it picks you up. The Comfort mode fits in between UberX and Uber Black price points. The company has indicated the new Uber mode will be subject to a 20-40% price increase when compared to the normal UberX option.

Uber Comfort program will only use a select number of drivers. where only drivers with a car less than five years old can drive for Uber Comfort. There is a list of cars that are pre-approved for the service, which includes the Toyota Camry, Dodge Durango, Audi SQ7, Chevy Tahoe, as well as the Honda Odyssey.

Uber Comfort is currently available in 43 cities.
