The work of Tyler Nordgren shows people how the sky should really be seen. With all of the light pollution from big urban cities, it is easy to forget the bright lights that can be found in the sky. The cosmos is vast and Tyler Nordgren endeavors to bring it to his audience one capture at a time.
A professor of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Redlands, Tyler Nordgren photographs the starry skies in his spare time. When he's not shooting or conducting lectures, he has been known to work on projects for Mars exploration rovers Spirit, Opportunity and Curiosity. With such a passion for the universe, it is no wonder Tyler Nordgren's photos are as beautiful as they are. He documents the breathtaking nightscapes of 14 national parks.
