Analytic Ad Partnerships

Toyota Partnered with EDO to Examine the Impact of Its TV Ads

Toyota will now track how its TV ads affect online searches related to the brand. The new direction is the result of a partnership between Toyota and EDO, which is a TV analytics firm. The two organizations originally began working together to investigate the effect of Toyota's 2019 Super Bowl ads. EDO found that the automotive company had the largest increase in searches of any company that ran a Super Bowl ad.

Tracking online searches related to TV ads will help the company analyze its own advertising strategy and it will be able to derive new insights and information form the analytics. The new information will help the company market its cars in a smarter way. Additionally, Toyota has already seen success working with EDO to understand the impact its Super Bowl ads had.
