The Can-Am Spyder F3 Turbo Concept is a uniquely designed and engineered vehicle that is a one-off offering. This particular vehicle is a one-of-a-kind version of the Can-Am Spyder Roadster offered up by Bombardier Recreational Products.
This vehicle was unveiled at the Daytona International Speedway in advance of the Daytona 500 NASCAR event coming up this weekend. It's a monstrous offering that comes equipped with a turbocharged 1,330-cc Rotax engine that is fully turbocharged and is capable of pumping out 150 horsepower. The vehicle's unique powerplant setup enables it to zoom along from zero to 100 km/h in only 4.3 seconds, and it's capable of completing a quarter mile in an impressive 12.3 seconds.
The Can-Am Spyder F3 Turbo Concept is more than just a vanity project, as it shows how unique design features -- such as its notably low center of gravity -- enable a vehicle to punch above its weight on the race track.
