Hoverboard-Luggage Design Concepts

The Trunk Car is a Concept with a Detachable Hoverboard

The Trunk Car is the latest winner of the Red Dot Design Concept Award for this year and it is a suitcase that has a detachable hoverboard that is built into the bottom in place of the usual 360° wheels. This makes it an easy way to move luggage around or the traveler themselves.

The exterior has a har-shell travel case that is able to detach from the wheel and a handling platform that is able to detach. It unveils a hoverboard that has handlebars and allows travelers to ride around. When traveling with luggage, it is able to attach the hard shell onto the hoverboard and use it as a motorized case that automatically moves in the pulled direction.
