As more Millennials focus on gaining experiences rather than things, the new app 'Travel Base' helps users to budget and plan their next trip. The platform allows users to determine the average cost of travel for various worldwide destinations. Thus far, the platform boasts over 2.5 million data points from real travelers that help ensure an accurate average is determined.
Travel Base gives users three levels of spending types when searching destinations including 'Budget' which indicates travelers are very cost-effective and tend to sleep in hostels or couch surf, 'Mid-Range' which means travelers are "flashpackers" that sleep in cheap hotels or private hotels, and 'Splurge' which refers to travelers who have an above-average budget who usually sleep in hotels or Airbnbs.
Travel Base is great for new and experienced travelers looking to budget for their next trip.
