LG Opens a Next-Gen HVAC Training Academy in California
LG has opened a new Air Conditioning Technologies Training Academy in Orange, California. This venture effectively expands the brand's national network of facilities dedicated to educating heating, ventilation, and air conditioning professionals on the installation and service of next-generation heat pump systems.
The announcement of the new Air Conditioning Technologies Training Academy launch coincides with California Heat Pump Week, where LG also deployed its Mobile Showroom to various distributor events across the state. The Orange facility joins existing academies in Georgia, Massachusetts, Illinois, Texas, and New Jersey. It offers courses that cover unitary systems, ductless solutions, variable refrigerant flow technology, and controls, all aimed at ensuring contractors have the hands-on skills needed to deliver efficient indoor comfort and water heating.
During the grand opening, attendees received a first look at LG’s 2026 high-efficiency HVAC products, including water heating and control solutions designed to enhance comfort, minimize noise, and maximize energy savings under appropriate operating conditions.
