The Touch Skin Watch Lets You Change Face Colors on the Fly

Designer Niels Astrup's Touch Skin watch is a futuristic time tracker with an old-school appeal. The old school appeal of this watch comes in its faux analog face. The futuristic side of things comes from its touchscreen and its ability to change its look at anytime via downloadable skins.

All features of the Touch Skin watch are unsurprisingly accessed through touch. Touching the face with one finger for three seconds turns the watch on. Pressing the face with two fingers for three seconds switches to date mode. If you press the face with three fingers, you are able to choose between the different downloaded skins. The skins are saved on a 16GB MicroSD card that can be upgraded. Other unique features of Astrup's design include the gift box, which doubles as a charger, and the use of Gorilla Glass on the face. No word yet on whether or not Astrup is seeking partners to put the Touch Skin watch into production.
