The 'Top Five Industries to Go Mobile' Infograph takes a good look at which areas of business have been on top of adapting to the modern age of technology. What the graph ultimately tells us is that restaurants are not only at the top of the heap, but greatly profiting off of their adaptability.
Since over 30 percent of people who visit a mobile site of pizzerias, for example, then immediately call to order, the small investment made into a mobile site has resulted in a high amount of traffic and, in turn, business. The graph makes the prediction that by 2015 "more people will access the Internet from their smartphones than from their desktop computers," meaning that those industries that are lagging need to join the mobile world to stay relevant.
