COMME des GARÇONS and Nike Drop a Dramatic Sneaker Silhouette

COMME des GARÇONS works in partnership with Nike on the new black tonal sneakers enclosed with velcro. Rei Kawakubo delivers the sneaker for the Fall/Winter 2019 season, highlighting a chunky sneaker silhouette entirely in black throughout the structure.

The outlandish design is true to Rei Kawakubo's aesthetics with the spotlight hitting the special chain link at the toe area of the sneaker. It doubles as branding details as well, as the chain translates "COMME des GARÇONS." The chain can be removed using clasps found at both the medial and the lateral regions of the sneaker. The shoes are constructed from premium leather materials in the same hue throughout the outsoles with mesh materials across the back heel.
