The timepiece concept seen here has been created to offer those with a visual impairment the ability to tell the time without having to rely on anything other than their sense of touch. Incorporating stainless steel pins, the timepiece creates a tactile experience that will enable wearer to simply slide their fingers over the surface to tell the time. This is achieved by having the pins pop up at specific times that correlate to the number on the watch face for a simple yet demure way to keep time.

The timepiece concept is the design work of Nikolai Zaitsev and, although ideal for those with visual impairments, is also suitable for those who are looking for a different approach to personal timekeeping.
