Fans of the literary and cinematic versions of The Hunger Games can rejoice at Lionsgate Entertainment's release of a theme park based off of the setting and storyline of the dystopian universe set to be open to the public in 2019. The park is set to be a simulated universe for fans to enjoy living the destiny of the iconic characters such as Katniss Everdeen.
The theme park is scheduled to be built in Dubai with a three million dollar price tag to boot. The park will feature a replication of District 12 complete with real settings such as Peeta's bakery, interacting characters and a simulation hovercraft tour. There will also be a rollercoaster modelled after the high speed train that travels to the Capitol.
