Cristina Bulat designed 'The Unbutton Collection,' comprised of two bedside tables and a sideboard.
Bulat was inspired by Pin-Up culture; a time when Burlesque-style photographs of provocatively-dressed women were mass-produced, intended to be "pinned" onto walls. This influence is most obviously seen in the collar-shaped element featured on the top drawer. The silhouette was achieved by using a linden veneer, which was flexible enough to curve at the required angle, without splintering the wood fiber.
The design draws upon the suggestive nature of Pin-Up culture, girls and clothing. Coupled with sleek Scandinavian design principles and a natural finish, the Unbutton Collection is a visually-appealing project that will add character and dimension to any room of the house.
