Smart Label Wine Coolers

The Porta Wine Cooler Uses App Scanning to Auto-Set Serving Temperature

The Porta wine cooler is a portable chilling device that connects to a smartphone app to identify a bottle and adjust its temperature automatically. Using the app’s camera, users scan a wine label, and the system detects the grape variety before setting an appropriate serving temperature without manual input. The device also allows users to log wines, add tasting notes, and manage a personal list within the app interface.

The cooler runs on a 10,000 mAh internal battery that provides up to eight hours of cooling and recharges via USB in approximately three and a half hours. It uses a thermoelectric system with no moving parts to maintain stable, vibration-free conditions while circulating cool air around the bottle. The unit can chill wine to around 46°F and includes a built-in decanting timer that tracks how long a bottle has been open before serving.
