The Elle UK August 2014 The New Suit photoshoot displays modern takes on the classic looks of businesswomen. Fashion editor Anne-Marie Curtis remixed the styles in each image taken by photographer Kai Z Feng, displaying just how easily the look can be updated and remixed.
Models Irina Kulikova, Franzi Mueller, Zen, Ragnhild and Josefin Gustafsson displayed the contemporary ensembles of Curtis. Whether sporting knee-length jackets, flowing skirts or flares, there was no mistaking Curtis' desire to rework the typical work suit.
At the same time, there are certain elements of the go-to look that cannot be discarded. This was made apparent via black patent loafers, free flowing trousers, high waisted cuts, restrictive zippers, button up blazers and straight clean cut pleats.
