Bi-Coastal Cannabis Competitions

MJBizCon & Budist Launch the MJBowl — a First-Of-Its Kind Event

A new collaborative initiative between MJBizCon, a major cannabis industry conference, and specialized review platform Budist has been established to create a bi-coastal product competition titled the MJBowl. The event is structured to compare and award cannabis products from licensed companies in California and New York across several categories, including flower, edibles, and concentrates.

At the MJBowl, a panel of industry experts will employ a standardized evaluation system to judge entries, with the winners being announced at the MJBizCon event in December. A subsequent phase will involve consumer participation through review kits and a mobile application, which will allow enthusiasts to sample and rate the winning products.

The MJBowl endeavor is positioned as an effort to create a national standard for product recognition and to bridge the distinct markets of the two states.
