Live Billboard Living Rooms

The Last House Billboard Recreates a Suspended Suburban Home

The Last House billboard transforms a Sunset Boulevard advertising display into a glass-fronted living room positioned about 30 feet above the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Selma Avenue in West Hollywood. The installation features a couch, bookshelves, plants, curtains, air conditioning, and a performer carrying out everyday routines behind a large front window. Reading, eating breakfast, using binoculars, and communicating with pedestrians through handwritten whiteboard messages form part of the three-day activation.

The installation references the film's central premise, in which a family remains confined inside their home while an unknown threat exists outside. Greta Lee and Wagner Moura star as parents attempting to ration supplies and protect their children without understanding why they cannot leave. Public interaction remains limited to visual observation from the street below, turning ordinary daily activities into a live display for passing traffic and pedestrians.
