Sustainable Space-Saving Stools

The Flex Perch Stool by Steelcase is Sustainably Designed

The Flex Perch Stool was designed by the U.S-based office furniture brand Steelcase. The company aimed to create a stool solution that works to save space in the office, made with sustainability at its core. The stool combines a light frame with a sloping seat. Its structure allows users to easily maneuver the Flex Perch to various locations to create a modular work environment.

In addition, the stool is equipped with gliders on its feet to enhance its movability on hard flooring and carpet alike. Due to its splayed leg structure, the stool is easily stored when it is not in use. Moreover, Steelcase collaborated with BASF on the stool's design to use post-consumer electronic waste as its primary material.
