Camping could become a little more enjoyable if the Campcraft were to ever go from concept to reality. Austin Blough's conceptual watercraft is a cross between a pontoon boat and a canoe and was designed to let individuals spend "less time loading, more time camping."

Water toys of any sort are fun to play with, but Blough is right in his assessment that they can be time-consuming and a pain to load and unload. The Campcraft has a lightweight design that makes it easier to haul than a boat and more functional than a canoe. The watercraft seats two and is pedal-powered and steered with oars. The Campcraft has removable seats and a small storage area big enough to hold a folding chair and a cooler, making it perfect for impromptu picnics.
