90s-Themed Tennis Sportswear

Rowing Blazers and K-Swiss Join Forces on a Tennis Collection

New York-based fashion imprint Rowing Blazers works in collaboration with K-Swiss on a new tennis collection designed for the Spring/Summer 2023 season. The duo delivers a range that is packed with nostalgic design elements and draws upon founder Jack Carlson's personal vintage collection of K-Swiss products. The new range is made up of sporty apparel and footwear designs. There is a strong 90s influence that can be seen in the form of the graphic pullover windbreaker and the French terry crewneck sweater.

The rest of the range includes the Si-08 sneaker, a selection of nylon shorts, a cotton tee, and cotton twill caps. Carlson talks about the range, “I’ve been wearing K-Swiss since I was a kid, and the Si-18 is an iconic tennis shoe in a way that just a small number of sneakers are truly important in the history of athletic footwear. So this collaboration is very meaningful for me. I wanted to use a very wearable ‘90s palette, and I was inspired by the tennis gear I collected growing up, going to the Open, and attending tennis camps. Although rowing became my main sport, tennis was always my passion.”
