Tegendraads by Wies Preijde is a visually striking art installation that will take people's breath away. It involves countless strands of colorful yarn, which have been carefully glued to the walls with a proprietary technique in order to create graphic and geometric aesthetics that are as mind-boggling as they are breathtaking.
What at first looks like a maze of halls and rooms is actually an illusion created by the threads used in Tegendraads by Wies Preijde. The textile walls make the existing space divisible while also creating a sense of spaciousness. Fully engaging people's perspectives, "the installation is a response to the fact that today we increasingly have less privacy and almost no longer be anonymous. We want to withdraw and protect our own decorated room," according to the artist.
