Dynabook launched its 14" powerhouse notebook titled the 'Tecra A40.' The Tecra A40 is intended to offer an uncompromising combination of performance, portability, security, and durability. The laptop is available in several configurations, each of which featuring an Intel Core processor. However, the processors vary between the 13th-generation Intel Core i5-1334U up to the Core i7-1365U.
Aside from its processor, the laptops have the same available RAM and storage configurations, which are up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and a 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD. For users who require more storage, the laptop features a microSD card slot, as well as a plethora of interface options for external storage solutions.
The I/O on this laptop includes two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an HDMI port, and its microSD card slot. The Thunderbolt 4 standard also enables the use of high-speed expansion docks, meaning the I/O can be expanded as needed.
In terms of the physical design of the Tecra A40, it features a 1080p 14" touchscreen, a spill-resistant keyboard, a fingerprint-resistant Dark Blue frame, and a weight of 3.2lbs, which is an expected weight given its high performance and durability. Dynabook also augmented this laptop with a 53 Wh battery pack capable of 65W fast-charging.
