Despite using a thick card stock material, Tea Smile packaging is a product of designers thinking outside of the box. The assembly of the lovely loose leaf container could have been much more efficiently and easily cut to form a conventional box; alas, the art of origami was assumed and explored elegantly.
When closed, the paper case for the teabags forms a pretty six-point star, printed in off-white with delicate snowflake-like foliage detailing. Applying pressure to the center of the back of Tea Smile packaging causes the diamond-shaped arms of the star to open out. The resultant shape has bloomed to resemble a paper fortune teller. But what's revealed are conveniently-accessible pockets in which separate servings of the infusion are stored.
