Capturing the cab drivers in a playful tongue in cheek manner, photographers Philip Kirkman and Shannon McLaughlin wanted to shed a light on one of New York’s hardest working people -- taxi drivers -- who transport tourists and resident New Yorkers wherever they need to go, day or night.
100 percent of net sales of the taxi driver calendar will be donated to ‘University Settlement,’ a settlement house serving over 30,000 immigrants and working families every year with education, housing and literary programs.
