ASCII Art Tattoos

Geektoos 1.0

Our own Trend Hunter Cowbag has spotted a number of tattoos for nerds, but these ASCII art tattoos are for the geekiest of them all.

ASCII art is perhaps most widespread in message boards and on social networks like Facebook. And ASCII art revivals are among the many retro reinventions of 1980s-era computers, technology and video games.

This tattooed ASCII art skull was made in Germany by the artist Jabba.

Implications - While tattoos were once reserved for those in society perceived as deviant, they are now an acceptable form of self expression for the every person. The variety of tattoos available reflect the diverse interests of the consuming public and the use of this body modification tactic to showcase these interests.
