Task-Supported Mental Healthcare

Rula and Taskrabbit Help Patients Make Time for Therapy

Rula is addressing a practical barrier to starting therapy through “T(ask) for Help,” a World Mental Health Day initiative created with Taskrabbit. From September 29 through October 10, eligible new patients who schedule their first therapy session through the campaign can receive a $50 Taskrabbit credit. The credit can be applied toward household services, allowing participants to delegate an everyday responsibility while making room in their schedules for mental healthcare.

The partnership expands the idea of therapy access beyond provider availability by addressing the time pressures that can prevent people from seeking support. For Rula, connecting therapy bookings with a complementary household service can encourage new-patient acquisition while differentiating its digital care platform. Taskrabbit gains exposure to consumers who may benefit from outsourcing routine responsibilities. The campaign also gives both companies a timely way to connect their services around World Mental Health Day.
