Happy Hospital Weddings

Pediatric Surgeon Taryn Bragg Marries at Work to Include Patients

Although many advise keeping work and pleasure separate, Taryn Bragg has decided to abolish this boundary for the sake of herself and her patients. As a pediatric surgeon, she held her wedding -- one of the biggest days of her life -- in the hospital she works at.

Although many hospital weddings take place between terminally ill patients, Taryn Bragg's wedding took place to inspire her young patients and to make them happy. As she says in her own words, "My goal is to make kids happy and healthy and to help them live the lives they were meant to live. This is exactly what I wanted. They are a part of my life, and they are a part of my happiness. That's what today was all about." Clearly Taryn Bragg did this as much for herself as she did it for them.
