Tamburins Launched Fragrances Inspired by a Dachshund

As part of its Sunshine collection, South Korean perfume brand Tamburins launched two scents inspired by a dog—a dachshund, specifically—Sunshine and Puppy.

Puppy is described as a “soft cereal scent” that gets its uniqueness from clean, floral blue chamomile, luminous aldehydes and a creamy, nutty wood note that envelops like a cozy blanket and warms like a sleeping pet. Sunshine, on the other hand, was inspired by a dachshund named Sunshine, and evokes the feeling of running through a forest, and it tells this story with angelica, guaiacwood and musk.

Both perfumes are packaged in bottles shaped like a dog’s clawed foot, and the unconventional fragrance collection also includes perfumed bones in coordinating scents that function as diffusers.
