With spring now upon us, brands like Talbots are celebrating the season with unique campaigns that aim to do more than simply provide consumers with clothing.
The brand teamed up with O, The Oprah Magazine, for the second time in order to offer a small collection of clothing pieces. A significant portion of the profits from this collection, 30 percent, will go towards the organization Dress for Success – "which helps women in need to gain financial independence by providing tools for developing career skills and a network of support." As part of the collection and campaign, consumers are encouraged to donate used office clothing in-store, or to make online donations that will go towards Dress for Success.
