Stonyfield Organic Unveils its Sweet Threads Collection

Stonyfield Organic introduces the 'Sweet Threads Collection,' a new line of clothing for the back-to-school season. This collection marks the brand’s entry into fashion, featuring garments made from sustainable sugarcane textiles.

Inspired by Stonyfield’s new 'Kids ZEROg Sugar Added Pouches,' the collection reflects the brand’s commitment to reducing sugar in children's diets.

The Sweet Threads Collection includes four pieces: three children’s tees and one adult tee, all crafted from '100% sugarcane-based textile.' The tees are designed with vibrant graphic prints and playful text to capture the excitement of a new school year. The adult tee, on the other hand, features long sleeves for comfort during school drop-offs and pick-ups.

The clothing is produced from "100% polylactic acid (PLA), a bioplastic made from renewable resources like sugarcane." This process involves "extracting cellulose from sugarcane stalks, which is then spun into fibers and woven into fabric," offering a sustainable alternative to conventional polyester.
