Sustainable Nail Polish Collections

Mavala Unveils a Nail Polish Line from Natural Ingredients

Swiss beauty brand Mavala has revealed its new sustainable-nail-polish-collection of bio-sourced products. The line is called the Mini Bio-Color collection.

The collection is made with 85% natural-origin ingredients and offers 12 different color shades suitable for fragile nails. Additionally, one 5ml nail polish bottle is equivalent to 10 manicures and is also permeable to air and water vapor.

The Mini Bio-Color collection consists of 12 color shades named after famous rivers across the globe. The names are Rio Grande, Mississippi, Nile, Rhône, Volta, Thames, Colorado, Murray, Amazonas, Mekong, Shannon, and Indus. The collection's bio-sourced solvents come from renewable farming resources, and possess strong fluidity and faster drying times with no harmful effects compared to chemical solvents. The nail polish also contains wood pulp, which constructs a protective film when drying. In addition, it also has corn and beetroot plasticizers which add shine and flexibility. The collection is available in global travel retail stores.
