IKEA announces the launch of its sustainable furniture collection. The capsule is attentively dubbed TÄNKVÄRD and it focuses on eco-friendly materials and modes of production. Set to drop sometime in April 2019, the offerings extend to textiles and lightweight pieces.
Aside from the company's aim to push the planet-friendly agenda forward, the sustainable furniture collection will also explore the field of functionality. Each product from the TÄNKVÄRD line will be flexible and multi-functional. This appeals especially to the practicality-minded consumer, as well as those who live in ultra-compact apartments. Design Taxi calls reader's attention to IKEA's room divider that also boasts clothing hangers and the storage basket that is designed to be fashion-forward enough to be used as a bag.
