German automaker Audi has gone ahead and developed an extraordinarily high-tech yet highly eco-friendly suspension system, dubbed the electromechanical rotary system, that is designed to make it easier than ever for riders to enjoy a very comfortable and bump-free ride while also resting in the knowledge that their vehicle is eco-friendly.

The electromechanical rotary suspension system's electrical control means that rebound and compression effects are separated and can be tuned and manipulated separately. Not only does this make for a much more comfortable and pleasant ride, but it also saves a lot of room which can then be used for the sake of extra cargo storage over in the boot.

While cars' external designs and engine specs usually get all the glory, this innovative suspension system is a triumphant invention in its own right.
