Heritage footwear company Red Wing Shoes teamed up with Nintendo and Illumination to create a pair modeled after Mario's boots from Super Mario Bros., the popular video game franchise. The boots were made in celebration of The Super Mario Bros. Movie premiere.
The prototype boots consist of natural leather material to emulate the texture of the video game model boots. It also contains slip-resistant treads for durability and movement.
