Sunflower Street Lights Provide Eco-Friendly Illumination
Michael Hines — August 15, 2010 — Eco
Danish design duo Riis Ros has come up with an eco-friendly way to light up city streets with this design dubbed Sunflower Street Lights. These street lights would illuminate city streets in an eye-pleasing and Earth-friendly way.
Solar-powered street lights are nothing new, but the unique design of Sunflower Street Lights is what sets them apart from the pack. Each ‘petal’ provides light, meaning that if one bulb goes out, there will be three more to take its place.
