The First sulvam Collection Delivers a Range of Casual Staples
Teppei Fujita worked as a pattern maker for Yohji Yamamoto for a number of years and now unveils his own imprint, sulvam. sulvam contributes in delivering a range of seasonal pieces for fall/winter 2018 with a range of casual pieces suitable for the cold weather. The brand new luxury label falls in between the balance of clean, relaxed looks, and unrefined charm. The label plays with the juxtaposing concepts in crafting pieces that boast a clean cut but have a deconstructed sophistication to them.
This balancing concept can be seen on items such as the three-piece pinstripe suit that has exposed side pockets and frayed hems. The collection's overall silhouettes took on this concept as well, incorporated onto jackets, button-up shirts, and trousers -- all taking on profiles that fit to its form, but also structures that seem relaxed.
