Apple Music Lengthened Its Student Trial Period

Apple has announced that it will extend the length of its student trail period for Apple Music. Students can now sign up for Apple Music and stream the service for free over the course of six months, which is double the length of the previous three-month promotion. The promotion is currently available and will be until September 26th. When accessing the promotion, users will have to verify their status as a student.

However the users who sign up for the student trial period will sign up for three free months, subsequently, users will receive an email with instructions to redeem the service for an additional three months of music streaming. It is currently not clear whether Apple will extend the program to students outside the United States.
