It's always hard delivering a compliment face to face but Street Compliments, a pop-up installation by SoulPancake, removes that awkwardness by separating individuals for an easier delivery of their heartfelt confessions.
The installation requires a minimum of two people, a complimenter who stands inside a booth and a complimentee who stands between the giant yellow headphones. The video reveals the affectionate confessions between husbands and wives, mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, friends and best friends and even employers and employees. Angry words are exchanged every day in fits of rage and often, no words of affection are even uttered because individuals are too busy or distracted and neglect the common greetings. Street Compliments is really a motivating method that inspires and gives people the opportunity to say the things they always wanted to before it's too late.
