For newlyweds looking for an easy way to stock up on essentials, Costco now offers a wedding registry service. This means that couples can now fill their homes with everything from furniture and appliances, to bulk cosmetics and canned goods.
The new wedding registry service is the result of a partnership with MyRegistry.com and an addition to the existing Weddings by Costco program. While couples do have to be a member to create their own registry, the service is completely free to sign up for. Guests can then browse for items from Costco's extensive selection of goods. Couples can even request cash instead of gifts and guests can give a sum between $1 and $1,000 for a minimal PayPal fee.
The new Costco service makes it easy for couples to stock up on essentials such as food and household supplies, which may not be available from other retailers.
