The Steampunk Characters by Georges le Mercenaire has taken the badass image of steampunk and hyped it up.
With his newest collection of illustrations similar to the style of his Crazy Confectionary Illustrations, le Mercenaire has proven yet again his amazing talent. The series focuses heavily on the industrial influence of the steampunk look. Adding to the badass-ness of the illustrations are the evil qualities showcased by le Mercenaire's Steampunk Characters. In one illustration, a robot with a gun is effortlessly holding up a human by his collar in a pose that just screams evil.
What is unique about the Steampunk Characters series is that it also incorporates small pop culture references. In one of the illustrations, a book picture references the iconic superhero Iron Man.
The Steampunk Characters series is a must-see for any steampunk lover.
