STEALTH is a Resort-Style Home Veiled Behind a Monolithic Facade in Tokyo

STEALTH is designed as a resort-style home tucked discreetly behind a solid, box-like exterior that reveals almost nothing from the street. The facade is rendered in muted gray, with a cantilevered upper mass and shaded garage entrance that heighten its sense of secrecy. This deliberate restraint frames the house as an urban monolith, one that cloaks the world within.

Inside, the residence opens up as a hidden retreat. Visitors enter through a car gallery before moving upward via a sculptural spiral staircase into expansive living spaces. The top floor features sliding glass walls that connect seamlessly to terraces, shaded by deep overhangs. A sunken courtyard illuminates lower-level spaces, turning the gym and recreation rooms into bright environments. Above it all, a rooftop infinity pool extends toward Tokyo’s skyline. Through STEALTH, the architects redefine domestic luxury as a balance of privacy, spectacle, and unexpected discovery.
