A project by K9 Ventures has repurposed an old shipping container into a temporary meeting room and office for startups. Many startups lack the resources they need in the infancy of their business, and one of these needs is office space.
Meant to be a temporary space for young companies, 'The Kennel' is built within an existing large industrial office in California. The meeting area has a modern design with wooden walls. The brightly colored furniture is meant to promote a sense of comfort and fun. The small size of the room is also used to remind users not to stay too long, and that it is a temporary space. Aside from the meeting room, there is a wooden unit used for seating and storage. Additionally, there is a small eating and lounging area, with a ping pong table.
The Kennel provides emerging entrepreneurs with a budget-friendly, practical solution giving innovative businesses a head start.
