Recently launched, the Stabilo Digipen is becoming quite the talked about innovation in the smart pen market. Showcased at CES 2016, this pen offers consumers an alternative way to make their sketches and notes digital.
The Stabilo Digipen supports a variety of operating systems, which include Android, iOS, Mac as well as Windows and these devices can connect via Bluetooth or USB connection. The pen can also provide users with handwriting recognition when used with custom apps. This digital pen features a ballpoint tip that's perfect for writing notes on actual paper and recognizes 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity when writing. It also uses motion detection to figure out what letters users are writing. This allows the device to convert bad handwriting into printed text.
Unlike other digital pens, the Stabilo Digipen does not require a special notebook or paper to function. This pen works just fine on regular printer paper or lined paper.
