New Spring Valley Hanayagu Fuyu Kaori Beer is Inspired by Stollen

Spring Valley, a sub-brand of the Japanese beer brand Kirin, has launched a seasonal Christmas cake-inspired beer called Spring Valley Hanayagu Fuyu Kaori.

Spring Valley Hanayagu Fuyu Kaori, which translates to "Brilliant Winter Fragrance," is a festive beverage option that draws inspiration from a popular German treat. Stollen is a traditional German Christmas cake that features nuts, dried fruits, and spices on the inside, and a dusting of powdered sugar on the outside. To recreate this distinctive flavor, Spring Valley has added cinnamon to its brew. The result is a slightly sweet beer that's still refreshing enough to pair with a slice of real Stollen.

To really enjoy the new Spring Valley Hanayagu Fuyu Kaori beer, you can try the Afternoon Craft Beer set at the two Spring Valley brewery pubs in Tokyo and Kyoto, which comes with the beer and a range of complementary sweets.
